AZ Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused, and professional AZ Truck Driver to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers on regional and long-haul routes while complying with all provincial, federal, and company regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other material-handling equipment when required.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured and transported safely to prevent damage.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately, including bills of lading, delivery manifests, logbooks, and inspection reports.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor vehicle maintenance when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional truck at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any transportation issues.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and Hours of Service regulations.




- Provide professional and courteous customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial AZ driving experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
- Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of freight handling, load securement, and shipping documentation.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to identify or troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and working in various weather conditions.
