TalentWorld is hiring for an AZ Flatbed Driver in the Exeter Area!!

In this position, you will be responsible for safely delivering steel products to customers throughout Ontario, operating a day cab flatbed truck while ensuring proper load securement, providing exceptional customer service, and safely unloading materials using a truck-mounted forklift. Day Shift / Schedule Monday to Friday

Regular Ontario routes with overnight travel as required

AZ Flatbed Driver Responsibilities

- Safely transport steel products to customer locations throughout Ontario.
- Operate a truck-mounted (Moffett) forklift to unload materials safely at customer sites.
- Secure loads using straps and perform ongoing load securement inspections throughout each trip.
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and report any equipment concerns.
- Pick up materials from vendors, steel mills, and company locations.
- Transfer products between company facilities as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper logbooks and delivery documentation.




- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding deliveries and scheduling.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
- Follow all company safety policies, transportation regulations, and safe work practices.

AZ Flatbed Driver Qualifications

- Valid Ontario AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Minimum 3 years of AZ and flatbed driving experience.
- Willingness to complete overnight runs as required.
- Experience operating a truck-mounted (Moffett) forklift is considered a strong asset.
- Construction site delivery experience is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of load securement and safe material handling practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials up to 25 kg.
