Position Summary Position Title: AZ Delivery Driver Location (Start Point): Oshawa, Ontario Delivery Area: Local Employment Type: Full time Shift Schedule: Days and Afternoons, Monday–Friday with Weekend Availability Start Time: Day Shift: 5am Afternoon Shift: 12pm We are seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented drivers to join our growing transportation team. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across Ontario

Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within Ontario in a safe, timely, and professional manner

Operate Tractor-Trailer equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Secure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load-securement standards

Transport general freight in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.

Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports

Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures

Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required Core Requirements Valid AZ driver's license

Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada





Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract

Verifiable recent commercial driving experience within the past 3 months to 1 year

Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement

Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions

Ability to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and upto 75lbs for some locations

Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach Role-Specific Requirements Minimum 1 year of verifiable AZ driving experience Strong knowledge of Oshawa and surrounding areas Previous experience operating specialized equipment power and manual pallet jacks, pump trucks Ability to safely perform hand-bombing, including manual loading and unloading of freight, as required Why Work for Canada Cartage?
