Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Cashier to join our team at our Acquacotta location. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, prepare high-quality beverages, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service setting, where attention to detail and a passion for coffee and customer satisfaction are essential. Tips are in addition to the hourly wage, averaging several more dollars per hour.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages following standardized recipes.
- Operate POS systems, including Clover, for order processing and cash handling.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in food preparation when required.
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and serving.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

- Permanent Full Time availability
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations.
- Experience with food handling, serving, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and food service operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; previous experience in barista or cashiering is advantageous. This position offers an engaging work setting where team members can develop their skills in food service while delivering memorable experiences for customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.25-$18.50 per hour
