We are seeking a personable and organized Billing & Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is centered on client outreach related to outstanding balances, with an emphasis on maintaining professional, respectful relationships throughout every interaction. The ideal candidate will ensure clients have a clear understanding of their purchases, their program access, and the available options for resolving any billing or payment matters.

This is a client-facing position best suited to someone who is confident communicating by phone, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating financial conversations with professionalism and composure.

Responsibilities

- Contact clients with outstanding balances to deliver timely follow-up and facilitate resolution of payment issues
- Re-initiate or adjust payment plans in accordance with client circumstances and internal guidelines
- Clearly articulate the details of products, programs, and services clients have purchased
- Ensure clients understand their program access and provide guidance on how to utilize it effectively
- Address billing, payment, and access inquiries in a clear, accurate, and professional manner




- Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of all client communications and account activity
- Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Finance teams to deliver a consistent and seamless client experience
- Uphold a skilled and trust-building standard in every client interaction

Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in billing, collections, customer service, or sales
- Professional phone presence - confident, articulate, and composed
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to communicate information clearly and guide clients through next steps with ease
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and billing platforms or a demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly
- Proactive, client-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

- Background in coaching, live events, online programs, or a comparable service industry
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency
