We've been innovating at our Delta facility since 1981, and we're embarking on our next and most exciting phase of growth as we scale production to meet BC's cleanfuels demand. As BC's first — and only remaining — producer of certified biodiesel, we make biodiesel from used cooking oil and other recycled feedstocks, supplying fleets and marine operators across BC.

This Position Owns: Producing every batch safely, consistently, and to spec on the shift you're scheduled.

What You'll Own (Your First 3 months)

- Run a full batch solo, start to finish, with zero QC misses.
- Get trained and trusted on the forklift and bulk-liquid loading equipment — safely receiving, and loading truckloads
- Meet the shift standard every time: area clean, hazards flagged, paperwork done before you hand off.

- Reliability — you show up for every shift, including early/late starts, weekends, and OT when production needs it.
- Hands-On Aptitude — you're not afraid to get dirty, run equipment,



and pick up mechanical and chemical processes on the job.
- Coachability — you take feedback without getting defensive, because getting better at this matters more than being right.

The Details

- Reports to: Biodiesel Manager
- Shifts: 5:00 AM–1:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
- Weekend work and overtime required as production demands; OT paid per the BC Employment Standards Act
- Counterbalance forklift experience (tight spaces), or able to become certified quickly
- WHMIS and TDG certification, or willing to obtain them
- Able to read and understand written safety materials (SDS, SOPs, work instructions) and communicate clearly and immediately, in person, about safety-critical issues with your supervisor and teammates
- Physical demands: lifting up to 25 kg, climbing stairs/ladders, standing for extended periods, PPE indoors and out (with or without accommodation)
- Safety-sensitive role — compliance with the Company's Drug and Alcohol Policy is a condition of employment
