Job Overview We are looking for a C++ Engineer to join the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC), a subsidiary of TMX Group. The role is hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office) and based in Montreal, QC. You will report to the Squad Lead, Core Clearing.

Responsibilities - Develop technical designs for complex features, both client and server side, to support new financial instruments.

- Implement critical functionalities within the clearing platform using high-performance C++ to ensure smooth and secure execution.
- Write rigorous unit tests and contribute to automated integration testing to maintain our integrity standards (AMF and Bank of Canada regulations).
- Collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to translate business needs into technological solutions in an Agile environment.

Required

Profile - Bachelor’s degree in a technological field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in C++ application development.




- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Full proficiency in French and English (oral and written).
- Knowledge areas that set you apart: container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), interest or experience with financial markets, clearing, or post-trade activities, Agile methodology, and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence). Location & Work Requirements Hybrid mode (2-3 days in office, the remainder remote). Must be authorized to work in Canada; TMX does not sponsor work permit applications.
