The Red Deer South Alberta NDP Constituency Association is hiring energetic, organized, and personable individuals to join our Voter Outreach Team. Working under an experienced volunteer coordinator, you will connect with voters door-to-door and at events to share our NDP candidate’s message, encourage support, and accurately record voter responses.
Responsibilities
- Canvass voters door-to-door about the provincial election.
- Use voter contact lists and record conversation results accurately.
- Meet voter outreach goals.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Alberta NDP Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Canvassing, campaign, sales, or telemarketing experience is an asset.
- Robust communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Alberta/Red Deer issues.
- Able to work independently and engage respectfully with the public.
- Comfortable using a smartphone.
- Able to walk 2–3 hours per shift in all weather.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle, and willingness to travel.
- Supports the Alberta NDP values.
Terms
- Up to 12 hours per week
- All shifts will occur during evenings and/or weekends.
- $22/hour.
- ASAP – Sept 4 (with possibility of extension)
