- Part-time or Casual employment
- Primarily Afternoon/Evening Shifts (2:30-10:15pm)
- Some opening shifts on weekends/holidays (6:30am-2:30pm)
- Raises given based on experience and positive job performance

Canadian Tire Gas+ is a locally owned, small business in Kenora, ON P9N 1L9. We are qualified, customer-centric, social, and our goal is to provide excellent customer service to all Gas+ customers. This position of Cashier and Gas Attendant is an in-person position in KENORA, ON. The successful candidate will provide friendly and professional service to Canadian Tire Gas+ customers through the convenience store and gas station.

- Use POS system for customer transactions (training provided)
- Use lottery terminal, following OLG training and regulations, to serve lottery customers
- Safely and legally sell age restricted products
- communicate with customers clearly and positively
- ensure site is operated safely
- maintain a clean and orderly site (inside and outside)
- serve propane tank exchange customers
- closing shift requires end of day cleaning, garbage removal, etc.
- fuel tank dips when required
- stock merchandise, as needed
- basic administrative tasks, as needed

About Us We are a self-serve gas station,



but store attendant is expected to monitor the gas site, and keep the indoor and outdoor area clean and safe to best serve our customers. Store attendants need to be responsible enough to work unsupervised (once trained). We are seeking responsible employee(s), with some relatable experience an asset.

Qualifications

- POS or money handling experience
- Basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory counting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to complete tasks unsupervised (once trained)
- Vehicle and drivers license an asset

Requirements

- Ability to work outside as needed, in year-round climate, including shovelling in the winter
- Ability to lift items for stocking purposes
- Clear criminal record check
- Ability to obtain Canadian Tire Online Training and Selling Alcohol Beverages (SABR) courses immediately upon hire
- Completion of Grade 12 education or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.60-$19.20 per hour
