The Role As a Duty Manager, you'll be part of the founding team helping to shape and establish the culture and daily operations of this venue.
Your role will include overseeing the smooth and effective functioning of the bar and floor areas, supporting team development, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You’ll be expected to lead by example, contribute to a fun and inclusive workplace culture, and help build a dynamic, multi-talented crew. Flexibility is key, with availability needed across evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately
- Manage financial reporting and cash handling with precision
- Support casual staff across bar, floor, and function operations
- Resolve customer queries and complaints with professionalism
- Greet guests and ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Oversee RSA compliance and assist staff in managing patron behaviour calmly
- Coordinate all venue bookings and private functions
- Deliver staff training on beverage knowledge, service standards, and bar operations
- Maintain a clean, tidy venue with optimal lighting, music, and table setups
- Uphold high standards of health and safety for staff and guests
- Proactively report operational concerns to upper management
