Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Cement Finish Rub Up to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to concrete surfaces, ensuring a smooth, durable, and high-quality finish that meets project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success of our renovation, restoration, and new construction projects.

Duties
- Apply cement finishes to floors, walls, and other concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve a polished, even appearance.
- Use blueprint reading skills and schematics to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for concrete placement and surface preparation.
- Perform rebar installation and masonry tasks as needed for structural integrity.
- Conduct restoration work, including caulking, welding, flooring installation, and masonry repairs to enhance existing structures.
- Mix, pour, and level concrete with precision, ensuring proper curing and finishing techniques are followed.
- Utilize carpentry skills for formwork setup and adjustments during the finishing process.
- Read schematics and blueprints to guide the finishing process according to project specifications.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving materials or equipment on-site.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools—hand tools and power tools—are properly maintained and stored.
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, restoration, or related construction roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with rebar installation, masonry work, carpentry, welding, and flooring installation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools in a construction environment.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and renovation processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely in compliance with safety standards.
- Construction experience involving schematics interpretation and schematic reading is preferred.
