Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary tools, and organizing supplies efficiently.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Take digital impressions and create CAD (Computer-Aided Design) models for restorative or orthodontic appliances.
- Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries professionally.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term health benefits.




- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications

- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program; experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic to manage patient records effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics to ensure accurate communication.
- Experience with dental assisting procedures including taking digital impressions for CAD models.
- Familiarity with dental reception duties, including appointment scheduling and patient communication.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
