Duties
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety and positive interactions at all times.
- Support children with daily routines such as meal times, diapering or toileting, and rest periods with patience and care.
- Engage children in creative activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and movement to stimulate their imagination.
- Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and any special needs to inform ongoing care plans.
- Foster inclusive environments by supporting children with diverse backgrounds or disabilities through personalized caregiving strategies.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
Experience
- Previous classroom experience working with young children in an educational or caregiving setting is highly preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a valuable asset.
- Demonstrated ability to teach or assist in early childhood education activities with enthusiasm and patience.
- Strong background in caregiving roles that involve nurturing, supervising, and supporting children's development.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to child supervision and health standards in childcare environments.
