About GROW Explorers

GROW Explorers is a Winnipeg-based children's enrichment company offering engaging programs in community centres across the city. Our mission is to help children explore, move, and grow through high-quality programming that builds confidence, creativity, movement skills, and meaningful connections.

Our programs are offered in 10-week sessions throughout the year:

- Fall (September–November)
- Winter (January–March)
- Spring (April–June)

We are currently expanding and are looking for enthusiastic instructors to join our team! Current OpportunitiesChildren's Movement Instructor

Location: Deer Lodge Community Centre

Schedule: Saturday mornings

Teach three back-to-back classes:

- Movin' & Groovin' (Ages 1–2)
- Mini Movers (Ages 3–4)
- Junior Stars (Ages 5–7)

Ideal for someone with experience in dance, creative movement, gymnastics, recreation, or early childhood education. Active Play / Sports Instructor

Location: Roblin Park Community Centre (Charleswood)

Schedule: Thursday evenings

Lead fun, energetic classes for children ages 5–8 and 9–12 featuring cooperative games, obstacle courses, relay races, team challenges, and active play.

Ideal for someone with experience in recreation, physical education, kinesiology, coaching, camps, or youth programming.

Little Explorers Instructor

Location: Whyte Ridge Community Centre

Schedule: Weekend (day and time to be finalized)

Lead a one-hour parent & child program for children ages 1–3 featuring stories, sensory play, music, movement,



process art, and hands-on discovery activities.

Ideal for someone with experience in early childhood education, parent-child programming, library programming, or recreation.

What You'll Do

- Plan and lead engaging weekly classes
- Create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive environment
- Build relationships with children and families
- Set up and clean up class materials
- Communicate with the GROW Explorers team
- Represent GROW Explorers in a professional manner

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Loves working with children
- Is energetic, organized, and dependable
- Is comfortable leading groups independently
- Is creative and enthusiastic
- Has excellent communication skills

Experience working with children is required. Education or experience in one or more of the following is considered an asset:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- Child Care Assistant (CCA)
- Education
- Recreation
- Dance
- Kinesiology
- Coaching
- Youth Programming

A current Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check (or willingness to obtain them) will be required before employment. Please indicate which position(s) you are applying for in your application.
