Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and custodial work, possess strong time management skills, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic workplace for staff and visitors, contributing to the overall professionalism of our organization.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across various areas of the facility
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for specific cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed
- Operate facilities maintenance equipment to ensure optimal cleanliness and safety standards
- Use custodial supplies effectively while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct deep cleaning procedures periodically to maintain high standards of hygiene




- Assist with minor repairs or maintenance using appropriate tools when necessary
- Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning needs or safety concerns
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance, including the use of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the shift
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
- Customer service orientation to assist visitors or staff when needed
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
