We are seeking a contractor able to accomplish both carpentry and metal work. A sink was placed on top of a metal lid that houses a rainwater cleanout. It is connected via a pipe that travels under the building and is intended to be accessible from indoors but a kitchen sink has been built over it.
Subsequently we need someone able to cut through the metal top , remove the build up of winter sand, and rebuild a portion of the countertop for continued easy access. There is a water pump housed under the sink and it would be preferable if it were not moved.

We have regular need for multiple jobs around different commercial buildings so if this goes well we will rely on you for future work.
There is an hourly rate but we would prefer being given a quote to accomplish this and other jobs.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate the situation and determine the best approach to fix issues caused by regular wear and tear or deterioration due to time and use
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively for various construction activities.
- Perform carpentry work including cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and framing.
- Execute construction painting, caulking, drywall repair, and surface finishing
- Support team efforts in construction site cleanup, safety compliance, and project coordination.
Requirements
- Proven experience in light construction work or related fields with a solid understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques including cabinet installation and flooring setup.
- Familiarity with construction estimating procedures for project planning and resource management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. ( ability to take pictures with your phone's camera )
