Role Description This is a remote, contract role focused on client acquisition for Temporary-First AI Agent Actions within the Canadian market, targeting AI & Security Architects and VAR/MSP/MSSP partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospective clients, conducting discovery calls, and presenting EphemAI™ solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
The role involves building and nurturing relationships with channel partners, coordinating demos and technical briefings, and collaborating with internal teams to refine messaging and positioning. The contractor will maintain accurate pipeline records, provide market and competitive feedback,
and support contract negotiations in alignment with EphemAI™’s commercial and security objectives.
Qualifications
- Client acquisition and business development experience within cybersecurity, AI, or related technology sectors, ideally in the Canadian market.
- Background working with or selling to VARs, MSPs, and MSSPs, with an understanding of channel partner dynamics and go-to-market models.
- Familiarity with AI systems, automation, or security architectures, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong skills in prospecting, discovery, consultative selling, and relationship management, with a focus on long-term value creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft explicit proposals, presentations, and follow-up materials.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setting, managing time, priorities, and targets with minimal supervision.
- Experience with CRM tools and structured sales processes, including pipeline tracking and reporting.
- Relevant post-secondary education in business, technology, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience is also considered.
- Knowledge of data protection, compliance, or security standards common in the Canadian market (such as privacy regulations) is an asset.
