About SVG

Signature Video Group is a Toronto-based creative video agency and production company.

We help ambitious organizations solve complex business problems through proof and story, creating cinematic work that makes their value, culture, and impact easier to understand and believe.

Our work spans brand films, campaigns, customer stories, investor communications, recruitment films, content systems, and select production services for large-scale film projects.

We are independently owned, intentionally small, and built around senior thinking, strong execution, and high-trust client relationships.

We are looking for a Client Partner / Account Producer to become a key link between our clients, our creative team, and the work we deliver.

About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of account management, project management, and production.

You will lead client communication, manage timelines and budgets, keep projects moving, support production planning, and help turn complex client needs into clear, finished creative work.

You will be the person clients trust to know what is happening, what is needed, what comes next, and how to get the work across the finish line.

On some projects, you may also step in as a producer or production lead.

This is a role for a calm, organized, client-facing operator who understands creative production, cares about the details, and wants to grow their aspirations alongside ours.

What You’ll Own

Client Experience

Lead day-to-day client communication across active projects

Set expectations, run check-ins, manage feedback, and turn conversations into clear next steps

Build trust with marketing leads, founders, communications teams, executives, and other decision-makers

Make clients feel confident, informed, and well taken care of throughout the process

Project Management

Manage schedules, budgets, scopes, meetings, approvals, deliverables, and project documentation

Keep work moving across strategy, creative, production, post-production, client review, and final delivery

Make sure the client knows what is happening and the team knows what is needed

Spot risks early,

flag scope changes, and protect projects from confusion, delays, and unnecessary chaos

Production Support

Support shoot planning, logistics, schedules, crew needs, locations, interviews, client approvals, and delivery requirements

Bring practical production judgment to client conversations

Step into a producer or production lead role when the project requires it

Bring a genuine interest in film, storytelling, and well-made creative work

Experience with call sheets, shoot schedules, production briefs, interview logistics, Frame.io, Adobe workflows, or agency/video production processes is a strong asset.

Client Growth

Identify opportunities inside existing client relationships

Support proposals, project scopes, and recommendations

Help turn excellent projects into long-term partnerships

Understand how trust, service, scope, and margin all connect

This is not a hard-closing sales role. But you should be commercially aware and comfortable helping client relationships grow in a thoughtful, natural way.

Systems, AI, and Better Ways of Working

We are actively using AI and modern tools to improve how we research, write, plan, produce, manage projects, and deliver creative work.

You do not need to be a technical expert, but you should be curious, adaptive, and willing to experiment with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, and other emerging platforms.

We want someone who looks for better ways to work — and helps make our systems sharper, faster, and more useful.

Who We’re Looking For

You may be a fit if:

You have 4+ years of experience in client service, account management, project management, production, or a related creative role

You have worked directly with clients and know how to build trust

You understand creative production workflows, ideally video

You can manage multiple projects without losing the thread

You write clear emails, briefs, recaps, and project updates

You can lead a client call with confidence and good judgment

You notice problems early and deal with them directly

You are organized, calm under pressure, and strong on follow-through

You are comfortable with tools like HubSpot, Notion, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, Frame.io, Slack, and/or similar systems

You are curious about AI and willing to use modern tools to improve your work

You have a valid driver’s licence, passport, and access to reliable transportation

You live in or near the Greater Toronto Area and can attend in-person meetings and shoots when needed

What We Offer

$70,000–$82,000 CAD salary, based on experience

Three weeks paid vacation

Additional paid time off over the December holiday period

Extra-long weekends during the summer

Wellness allowance

Access to leading AI and productivity tools, including Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, and other emerging creative technologies

Direct access to company leadership
