William Sons is a locally owned and operated general contracting and construction company. We provide a variety of services including design-builds, commercial construction, renovations, structural upgrading, hydro-vac, horizontal directional drilling, utilities excavating, property maintenance, landscaping, and fencing. We have more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry.

William Sons is recruiting for a skilled Labourer. This is a full-time position (50-60 hours a week) working Monday-Friday.

The Laborer will assist with a variety of tasks such as digging, fencing, locating, raking, traffic flagging, organizing and maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging yet rewarding position.

Responsibilities

- Perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, loading and unloading materials, ensuring the work area is clean and operating machinery.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Work in a team environment to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

- Experience work in a labour-related role




- One year of construction experience is preferred
- Valid class G driver’s license with driver’s abstract
- Able to lift heavy objects
- The ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Self-motivated and punctual
- Safety-oriented individual
