Reporting to the Manager, Coordinator or designate, performs a variety of duties related to registration, scheduling,
information and guidance for remote and virtual clients, according to established contact centre procedures. Provides a positive and culturally secure client experience, while utilizing specialized software applications and office equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Grade 12 and two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to keyboard at 45 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
This position works remotely and will be required to sign a Work From Home Agreement along with Acceptable Use of Island Health Property and Confidentiality Agreements.
