About Us

Giza Entertainment is an Ottawa-based entertainment company producing concerts, festivals, and nightlife events across the city and beyond, including our venue E11even. We’re growing our social media presence and looking for a creative all-in-one Content Creator who can film, edit, and help shape our online voice — showcasing our events, artists, and nightlife experiences.

Responsibilities

- Film behind-the-scenes, promotional videos and ocasional event content across Giza Entertainment’s venues and events
- Capture and create short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms
- Edit raw footage into polished, on-brand social media content
- Appear on camera when needed (intros, hosting, interviews, trends)
- Brainstorm and pitch content ideas, concepts, and trends relevant to our brand
- Work closely with the marketing and event management team to align content with promotions and events
- Manage and organize video/photo assets library across all events/venues
- Occasionally shoot photos to support marketing needs

Requirements:
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating videography, editing, and content creation work (required)
- Experience filming/creating content for nightlife, concerts, festivals, or events is a plus




- Comfortable being on camera and engaging with an audience
- Proficiency with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro)
- Own camera/filming equipment preferred (or willingness to use provided gear)
- Ability to occasionally work nights/weekends
- Solid understanding of social media trends (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

Skills:
- Videography and cinematography fundamentals (lighting, framing, movement)
- Video editing and post-production (color correction, sound mixing, pacing)
- Content ideation and storytelling for short-form video
- On-camera presence and personality
- Familiarity with platform algorithms and what drives engagement
- Time management — able to turn around content quickly after events
- Attention to detail and brand consistency
