Role Description We are hiring temporary cooks to join our team for Whoop-Up Days (August 17–23, 2026) in Lethbridge.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume festival workplace where you’ll be preparing and cooking a variety of menu items including meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast items, and concession-style food.

You will work closely with a strong kitchen team to ensure consistent quality, speed, and food safety throughout the event.

Duties

- Prepare, season,



and cook a variety of menu items in a high-volume setting
- Follow production schedules and recipes accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist with prep, restocking, and closing duties as needed

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year cooking experience in a high-volume or fast-paced kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
- Ability to stay organized and maintain quality under pressure
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Flexible and reliable, able to work long festival shifts and peak hours

Licence/Certification:
- Food Safety Certification (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- WHMIS Certification (required)

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
