The Courtesy Shuttle Driver’s main goal is to enhance the customers' positive service experience by driving them to or picking them up from their homes or offices while service is being performed on their vehicles.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Uses positive judgment and secure driving skills.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
- Keeps a timely shuttle route.
- Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
- Operates a dealer provided cell phone and shuttle software to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
- Assists sales department with licensing at Services Ontario.
- Assists management team with errands such as picking up supplies for the customer lounge area
- Notifies the Service Manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning and general maintenance.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid class G driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract
- Clean criminal background check
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including frequent entry and exit from vehicles throughout the day.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
