Role Description

We are hiring a Crypto Macro Research Specialist to support macroeconomic research, digital asset market analysis, investment reporting, and financial market intelligence. This is a full-time, paid remote role based in Canada focused on crypto macro research, digital asset markets, global financial trends, blockchain finance, and investment strategy.

The Crypto Macro Research Specialist will monitor macroeconomic indicators, crypto market cycles, liquidity trends, capital flows, and digital asset developments while preparing research materials across cryptocurrency, Web3 finance, monetary policy, risk sentiment, market cycles, and global asset markets. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in cryptocurrency,



macro research, investment analysis, digital assets, asset management, and financial markets.

Responsibilities

- Research cryptocurrency markets, macroeconomic trends, digital assets, blockchain finance, Web3 markets, and global financial conditions
- Monitor inflation, interest rates, monetary policy, liquidity conditions, market sentiment, capital flows, volatility, and crypto market cycles
- Analyze how macroeconomic developments affect cryptocurrency markets, digital asset performance, investor behavior, and broader risk assets
- Prepare macro research notes, crypto market updates, investment briefs, financial market reports, and digital asset intelligence materials
- Track developments across central banks, global markets, crypto exchanges, stablecoins, DeFi, tokenized assets, and institutional digital asset adoption
- Support financial modeling, market scenario analysis, sector research, asset comparison, and investment strategy materials
- Collaborate with team members on research reports, market analysis, investment banking-style materials, and asset management-focused projects
- Maintain organized research files, market trackers, macro dashboards, crypto watchlists, report libraries, and digital asset intelligence resources

Qualifications





- Strong interest in cryptocurrency, macro research, digital assets, investment banking, asset management, Web3 finance, and global markets
- Familiarity with macroeconomic analysis, crypto markets, financial modeling, equity research, investment research, or digital asset analysis
- Understanding of inflation, interest rates, liquidity, market cycles, capital flows, volatility, investor sentiment, and risk asset behavior
- Familiarity with financial research platforms, TradingView, crypto market data tools, blockchain explorers, DeFi dashboards, or macroeconomic data sources is a plus
- Strong research, analytical, financial modeling, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to explain macro trends, crypto market developments, investment themes, and digital asset insights clearly
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple research priorities
- Previous experience in finance clubs, investment research, macro research, crypto research, financial markets, or Web3 projects is helpful

Compensation

Salary range: CAD120,000 - CAD130,000 per year depending on experience
