Growth Opportunities and more! What You'll Be Contributing Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Main point of contact for customer base including order taking, tracking and inquiries
Responsible for accurate order + billing data entry
Facilitates communication and resolution of customer issues
Dispatch and co-ordination customer orders with our carriers' dispatchers
Multi-Tasking across various activities
Manages daily scheduled deliveries
Creating bill of ladings for all truck deliveries loaded at our facilities
Interacts with and directs delivery drivers for truck loading and billing
Creates customs documents for US bound shipments
Supports other team members to complete daily transactions
Create billing for rail car transactions
Participate in carrier and logistics safety programs.
Participates in other projects and tasks as assigned.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
To Succeed In This
Position, You Will Need Minimum of a High School Diploma
Customer Service experience is an asset
Knowledgeable with various computer systems
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
Excellent Customer Service skills
Strong ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must possess excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrates leadership/ability to take ownership of tasks and make decisions, takes initiative and is self-motivated
Must be able to work within a team environment and interact with a variety of people in all plant departments
Good problem solving abilities Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to lift small objects frequently, weighing up to 20 lbs.
This position is sedentary in nature but may require periods of standing and walking Work Environment This position is office based and is therefore indoors and climate controlled Additional Information Compensation: $47,500 - $52,500
