We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building robust ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and high-quality data is available for analytics and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.

- Build and optimize data integration solutions from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.

- Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouses and data lakes.

- Create efficient, reusable, and well-documented data processing solutions.

- Optimize SQL queries, data models, and database performance.

- Implement data quality, validation, governance, and security best practices.

- Work with cloud-based data platforms and distributed data processing frameworks.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance and reliability of data pipelines.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, sprint planning, and code reviews.

- Support CI/CD processes and automate deployment of data engineering solutions.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend process improvements.





Required Skills

- Minimum 5 years of skilled experience as a Data Engineer.

- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Databricks.

- Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics.

- Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.

- Knowledge of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data architecture.

- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.

- Experience working with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, or Microsoft Fabric.

- Understanding of data governance, data privacy, and security best practices.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools).

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: $105,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
