Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead / Data Migration Architect to support a large-scale Data Centre Exit and Cloud Migration Program . The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing enterprise data assets, developing comprehensive data migration strategies, and ensuring the successful migration of data workloads to cloud platforms.

This role will serve as the primary owner of data and database assessments, migration planning, cutover strategies, and data synchronization approaches. The consultant will work closely with infrastructure, application, cloud, and business stakeholders to identify dependencies, mitigate migration risks, and ensure compliance with data residency, retention, and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead data and database assessments across applications and infrastructure targeted for migration.
- Develop and own the end-to-end data migration strategy for the data centre exit program.
- Analyze and profile existing data stores, databases, and data flows to understand migration complexity and dependencies.
- Define migration approaches, including:

Rehost, replatform, and modernization strategies

Data synchronization methodologies

Cutover planning and execution

Data validation and reconciliation processes
- Identify and document data-related risks,



dependencies, and migration constraints.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, infrastructure teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to ensure migration readiness.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, retention, security, privacy, and residency requirements.

Required Qualifications 8-10+ years of experience :
- Proven experience leading Cloud Migration initiatives in large enterprise environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Data Migration planning and execution.
- Experience assessing and migrating databases, data warehouses, and enterprise data platforms.
- AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience developing migration strategies for data centre modernization and cloud transformation programs.
- Deep understanding of data architecture, database technologies, and migration best practices.
- Experience with migration dependency analysis, data profiling, and cutover planning.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-vendor enterprise setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale data centre exit programs.
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience within transportation, airline, or highly regulat
