We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Administrator to join our vibrant dental practice. Duties
- Manage all front desk operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling patient check-ins and check-outs with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Coordinate with dental providers to confirm schedules and ensure timely patient flow
- Utilize dental practice management software such as Cleardent and RecallMax to schedule appointments, update patient records, and process billing efficiently
- Handle multi-line phone systems with confidence, addressing patient inquiries promptly and directing calls appropriately
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMRs) and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Process insurance claims, verify patient benefits, and communicate coverage details clearly to patients
- Support the dental team by managing administrative tasks such as inventory management, correspondence, and data entry using medical terminology accurately
Skills
- Proven experience in a dental office or medical office environment with solid familiarity with dental reception duties
- Proficiency in Cleardent practice management software and RecallMax but training can be provided
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare documentation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, insurance companies, and vendors
- Experience operating multi-line phone systems and managing busy front desk operations
- Demonstrated administrative experience supporting healthcare teams with accuracy and professionalism
