Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to work every Thursday with potential for future increase in days.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. A strong emphasis on customer service and patient interaction is essential in this position.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric and orthodontic cases.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient record management and scheduling.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow within the office.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional customer service.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices to enhance patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is required. A minimum of 1 year of hygiene experience is expected.
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
