Mount Pearl/Conception Bay South/Paradise, Torbay/Portugal Cove-St. Philip's/St. John's NL (4 Days onsite).

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build secure, scalable systems and streamline our software delivery process. You will work closely with developers to automate repetitive tasks, manage cloud servers, and troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities

- Build CI/CD Pipelines: Design and maintain automated pipelines to test and deploy code smoothly.
- Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Set up and optimize cloud environments (like AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Automate Infrastructure (IaC): Use code-based tools (like Terraform or Ansible) to provision servers rather than doing it manually.




- Container Management: Run and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor System Health: Track application performance, set up logging alerts, and fix runtime errors.

Qualifications

- Experience: 3 to 5 years working in a DevOps, cloud engineering, or software role.

Required Skills

- Scripting Skills: Basic coding in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks.
- Core Tools: Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
