This is not a creative marketing role . It’s a hands-on, execution-focused contract position for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
What This Job Actually Does As a Digital Content Analyst, you’ll be responsible for getting products accurately and efficiently live on the client’s eCommerce site . You’ll process incoming product content, ensure Product Detail Pages (PDPs) are complete and customer-ready, and troubleshoot issues that block products from going live.
You’ll spend much of your day working in Excel and content systems , managing large sets of product data, and collaborating with internal teams when content needs clarification or prioritization.
What You’ll Do Product Content Onboarding (Primary Focus)
- Manage end-to-end onboarding of product content to the client’s eCommerce platform
- Process incoming vendor content to ensure accuracy, completeness, and customer readiness
- Upload and maintain product information on Product Detail Pages (PDPs)
Content Quality & Issue Resolution
- Perform regular quality checks on PDPs
- Identify and resolve content or data issues that prevent products from going live
- Act as a point of contact when teams need clarity on onboarding status or blockers
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with purchasing, marketing, and operations teams to provide status updates
- Coordinate with external agencies supporting product titles or enhanced content
- Communicate clearly when timelines are impacted by missing or incorrect information
Workflow & Continuous Improvement
- Manage daily and weekly content intake to prevent backlogs
- Support priority or promotional product requests
- Contribute to process improvements as tools, automation, and AI capabilities evolve
Tools & Environment This role involves daily hands-on work with data .
- Excel (filters, formulas, lookups such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- eCommerce platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Large product datasets (SKUs, attributes, dates, identifiers)
- Exposure to automation and AI-supported content tools (no prior experience required)

What You Bring Must Haves
- Experience onboarding or managing product content in an eCommerce environment
- Strong Excel skills (filters and formulas required; lookups preferred)
- High attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Explicit written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset with strong follow-through

- Background in content operations, digital merchandising, or marketing
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices for product content
