Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Director of Field Operations to lead our on-the-ground construction and maintenance teams. This pivotal role involves overseeing multiple projects, ensuring safety standards, managing resources efficiently, and driving excellence in all field activities. What You'll Do

- Report to work each day and lead daily field operations.
- Meet with scheduled crews each morning and ensure they are prepared for the day's assignments.
- Visit project sites to assess maintenance requests, renovations, tenant improvements, and commercial build-outs.
- Analyze project requirements, identify repairs, determine materials, equipment, tools, labour requirements, timelines, and detail All project costs and monitor.
- Develop work plans and assign employees or subcontractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Coordinate and schedule work to maximize productivity and meet deadlines.
- Monitor labour hours, material costs, and overall project budgets.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times.




- Enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Hold employees and subcontractors accountable for workmanship, productivity, attendance, and professionalism.
- Identify issues before they become problems and develop practical solutions.
- Communicate regularly with property owners, tenants, clients, suppliers, and internal management regarding project status.
- Order materials and coordinate deliveries to avoid delays.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout each project and ensure all work meets company standards.

What We're Looking For

- Experience managing multiple residential and commercial construction or maintenance projects.
- Strong knowledge of renovations, repairs, tenant improvements, and commercial construction.
- Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
- Ability to estimate labour, materials, equipment, and project costs.
- Proven leadership experience supervising construction crews.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive problem solver who takes ownership and follows through.
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's licence with reliable transportation.
