Berryhill Foods is seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Dispatcher to join our growing team. This is a fast paced role that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our customers and drivers. Schedule

- Regular Season: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Peak Season (July & August): Overtime is required to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily dispatch operations and ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers and warehouse staff.
- Schedule loads and optimize routes for efficiency.
- Monitor deliveries and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
- Lead and support the dispatch and shipping team during daily operations.
- Operate a forklift safely when required.
- Assist with warehouse and shipping operations as needed.
- Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
- Work closely with management to improve operational efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of dispatching or transportation logistics experience.




- Experience in frozen food distribution or transportation industry is an asset.
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with Motive is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a rapid-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
