Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Field Services Manager (Transmission/Distribution) in the Engineering Consultancy Sector in Toronto, Ontario. Our client is seeking an experienced Field Services Manager to lead inspection and construction auditing teams supporting Transmission & Distribution projects across the Greater Toronto Area. This leadership role combines operational excellence, client engagement, and team development.

- Lead and oversee site inspection and construction auditing services for Transmission and Distribution projects.
- Manage and develop a team of Group Leads and Team Leads, with broader responsibility for field personnel reporting through the leadership structure.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, contract requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Serve as the primary client-facing contact for project delivery, issue resolution, and relationship management.
- Coordinate staffing and resource planning to ensure qualified personnel are available for project assignments.




- Monitor operational performance metrics, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support incident investigations and champion a strong safety culture across all field operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Successful candidates will have

- 15–20 years of experience within the electrical utility industry
- Extensive experience in Transmission and Distribution (T&D;) construction and maintenance activities
- Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience managing supervisors, team leads, or equivalent leadership roles
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills with proven client-facing experience
- High Voltage Electrical Trades Red Seal or Power Line Technician/Journeyman certification preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of utility regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Experience working with organizations such as Toronto Hydro and/or Hydro One is considered a significant asset
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and operational demands
