DJ Assistant Job Overview

This is a casual paid position offering 6–24 hours per week, depending on bookings and business needs. Hours are primarily evenings and weekends.

Pay

- $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

- Set up and tear down DJ equipment, including speakers, mixers, microphones, lighting, and other event gear.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment safely.
- Help manage music playlists, cue tracks, and support smooth transitions during performances when needed.
- Assist with troubleshooting technical issues to keep events running smoothly.
- Coordinate with venues and event staff to ensure timely setup and operation.
- Monitor equipment throughout events and help maintain excellent sound and lighting performance.
- Keep equipment organized, clean, and ready for transport.




- Follow safety procedures when handling electrical equipment, cables, and heavy gear.
- Represent Club Anywhere professionally and help create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere for guests.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience with DJ or audio equipment is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized.
- Comfortable lifting and moving sound and lighting equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to remain calm and solve problems under pressure.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and special events.
- A genuine passion for music and live entertainment.

Travel This position involves travelling with DJ DreamWarrior to and from event venues throughout Nova Scotia and the Maritime provinces.

- Transportation to and from events is provided.
- Overnight accommodations (hotel) are provided when required.
- Travel time may vary depending on event location.
