Company Description We are looking for a full-time Early Childhood Educator with leadership qualities to help lead this rural community childcare center.

Role Description: The Early Childhood Educator is a full-time, on-site role based in Boiestown, NB. In this position, the educator plans and delivers age-appropriate learning activities that support children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in a protected and nurturing setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing lesson plans, organizing play-based learning, supervising indoor and outdoor activities, and maintaining a structured classroom routine.

The educator observes and documents children’s progress, communicates regularly with families and colleagues, and adapts teaching strategies to meet diverse needs. The role also involves collaborating with team members to uphold program standards, adhering to local regulations and health and safety requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement of early childhood programs.

Qualifications





Early Childhood Education Diploma

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Knowledge of early childhood development and experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.

Creative skills to design engaging, play-based activities and learning materials that support different learning styles.

Organizational skills to plan lessons, manage classroom routines, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

Understanding of child safety, inclusive practices, and behavior guidance strategies in early learning environments.

Ability to work in office, follow health and safety protocols, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

CPR/First Aid certification and experience with program planning, assessment, and parent communication are considered assets.
