Position

Job Title: Early Childhood Educator – Level 2 or Level 3

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Londonderry Childcare, Edmonton, AB

Responsibilities

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Provide a protected, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, rest time, and daily routines.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Observe children's development and communicate progress with parents when required.
- Maintain accurate records and daily documentation.
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and follows Alberta licensing standards.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the childcare team to provide high-quality care and education.




- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training as required.

Qualifications
- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or 3Certification.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, caring, and passionate about working with young children.
- Previous childcare experience is an asset.
