Duties

- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and respectful interactions among children
- Monitor and assess individual progress, tailoring activities to meet each child's unique needs and abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children with disabilities or special educational requirements
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and daily observations using computer-based systems
- Ensure health and safety standards are consistently upheld through regular classroom inspections and adherence to policies
- Communicate effectively with families about children's progress, behavior,



and upcoming activities using written reports and verbal updates

Requirements

- Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse student populations
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to engage children, parents, and team members clearly and positively
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently and maintain detailed documentation
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while collaborating within a team environment
- Strong time management skills to balance lesson planning, classroom supervision, and administrative tasks effectively
