Support the Automation team by designing, integrating, and managing automation, IIOT, and electrical engineering projects.

Lead engineering deliverables, including project scheduling, feasibility studies, standards development, and best practices. Design low‑voltage power systems and produce detailed engineering documentation, drawings, and red‑line revisions. Develop and execute testing, commissioning, QA, and acceptance processes,



including building test benches for new products.

Collaborate with engineering, field, IT, and third‑party partners, provide guidance to junior engineers, and travel to field locations as required (up to 10%). Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent, with 2–5 years of relevant experience; field experience strongly preferred. Eng or EIT in positive standing with APEGA required.

Strong understanding of modern drilling rigs, applicable standards, and the practical application of automation and electrical technologies. Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Electrical, PLCs, distributed control systems, industrial communications, and IP networking;

experience with ABB drives, Amphion, AC rigs, and programming languages (JavaScript, Python) is an asset. Strong communicator with a continuous‑learning mindset and the ability to adapt to new technologies in a collaborative engineering workplace.
