We are looking for an EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst for a 1 year contract with high possibility of extension.
Position
Overview
We are seeking an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory Analyst to join Project AMP, an enterprise initiative focused on modernizing appointment scheduling through standardized workflows and enhanced use of Epic and MyChart. This transformation will improve equitable access to care, streamline scheduling processes, and create a more consistent experience for patients, providers, and staff.
The successful candidate will support the implementation, optimization, configuration, testing, and stabilization of EpicCare Ambulatory applications. Working closely with clinical, operational, technical, and project teams, you will design and optimize ambulatory workflows while ensuring seamless integration with Epic Cadence scheduling functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, build, and maintain EpicCare Ambulatory application functionality to support clinical and operational workflows.
Design and optimize provider documentation, clinical workflows, orders, and ambulatory workflows.
Configure and support integrations between EpicCare Ambulatory and Epic Cadence scheduling.
Analyze current-state workflows and recommend improvements that enhance provider efficiency and patient care.
Collaborate with clinicians, operational leaders, technical teams, and project stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective Epic solutions.
Support system configuration, integrated testing, defect resolution, implementation, go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, testing scripts, and technical documentation.
Participate in change management, knowledge transfer, and end-user support activities.
Ensure application build follows Epic best practices and aligns with organizational standards and project objectives.

Required Qualifications
EpicCare Ambulatory certification or certification in the applicable Epic module, or the ability to obtain certification as required.
Proven experience performing Epic analyst responsibilities, including application configuration, build, testing, implementation, and production support.
Experience supporting healthcare organizations and ambulatory clinical workflows.
Strong understanding of EpicCare Ambulatory workflows and their integration with scheduling and patient access applications.
Experience with workflow analysis, system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and end-user support.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in a quick-paced project environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Epic Scheduling Modernization initiatives.
Experience integrating EpicCare Ambulatory with Epic Cadence.
Experience supporting Epic MyChart functionality.
Knowledge of ambulatory workflow optimization and clinical operations.
Experience participating in large-scale Epic implementation, optimization, or upgrade projects.
Familiarity with integrated testing, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilization.
