Join us as an Event Security Guard at the Chasing Summer Music Festival, where your vigilance and dedication will help create a safe, enjoyable environment for all attendees, performers, and staff. In this dynamic role, you will be the frontline defender of festival safety, utilizing your law enforcement experience and surveillance skills to monitor crowds, prevent loss, and respond swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish, fostering a secure atmosphere where everyone can celebrate music and community confidently.

Duties

- Maintain a protected and secure environment for guests, staff, and performers.

- Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points.

- Conduct foot patrols throughout the festival grounds.

- Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.

- Assist with crowd management and queue control.

- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing event policies.





- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports when required.

- Work closely with supervisors, emergency services, and event organizers.

Requirements

- Valid Alberta Security Services Licence (Required)

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- Professional appearance and positive attitude

- Ability to work in a fast-paced festival environment

- Previous event security experience is considered an asset

Uniform Requirements

Applicants must wear

- Black cargo pants

- Black boots or black shoes

Company event shirt will be provided.
