Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Driver/Moving Swamper to join our dynamic moving team. In this role, you will operate commercial vehicles, assist with moving and loading furniture, and ensure the safe and efficient transport of our clients items. This position offers a rewarding chance to be part of a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment required for moving.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections each shift, as well as an inventory of supplies
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to heavy equipment operation and transportation
- Maintain accurate documentation of freight movement, vehicle logs, and inspection reports
- Support your team by acting as a reliable swamper, helping navigate tight spaces and ensuring clients belongings make it safely from point A to point B




- Showing up on time for scheduled shifts
- Collecting payments

Experience

- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
- Hands-on moving experience is an ASSET
- Customer service experience is an ASSET
- Familiarity with safe lifting techniques ( over 50lbs repetitively)
- Valid class 5 license is REQUIRED
- Airbreaks are an ASSET
