Experienced Windows & Doors Installer

Canglow Windows & Doors is looking for an experienced Windows and Doors Installer to join our installation team in Edmonton, Alberta.

We are seeking a reliable professional with at least two years of relevant window and door installation experience in Canada. This position offers a consistent workload, competitive piece-rate compensation, timely payments, and the support required to complete projects safely and professionally.

Compensation

This is not an hourly or salaried position.

Installers are paid on a piece-rate basis according to the square footage installed. Earnings depend on the size and type of project, installation quality, productivity, experience, and the amount of work completed.

Full compensation details will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

- Remove existing windows and exterior doors;
- Install vinyl windows, entry doors, patio doors, and related products;
- Complete insulation, levelling, sealing, caulking, capping, trim, and finishing work;
- Inspect openings and identify installation-related issues;
- Protect the customer’s property during installation;
- Keep the work area clean and remove installation debris;
- Follow company installation standards and safety procedures;
- Communicate professionally with customers and company representatives;
- Travel to installation projects throughout Alberta when required.

Requirements

- Minimum of two years of window and door installation experience in Canada;
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence;
- English language skills sufficient to communicate with customers, office staff, and other installers;
- Strong knowledge of residential window and exterior door installation;
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and safely lift heavy products;




- Ability to work independently and as part of an installation crew;
- Strong attention to workmanship, finishing details, and customer property;
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct;
- Willingness to travel for projects throughout Alberta when required.

Vehicle Requirements The installer may work using a company vehicle or an approved personal work vehicle. Please note that a regular passenger car used only for transportation does not meet the vehicle requirement.

An installer using a personal vehicle must have a suitable commercial work vehicle capable of safely transporting windows, doors, tools, equipment, and installation materials. Acceptable examples include:

- Cube van;
- Cargo van;
- Work truck;
- Pickup truck with an appropriate enclosed or work trailer.

The vehicle must be reliable, properly insured, and suitable for professional installation work.
