Position Summary:

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated and experienced House Manager to join our private household in Grimsby, Ontario. This role involves managing daily household activities and providing occasional high-quality childcare for up to 3 children aged 4-9 years old.

The House

Manager will be responsible for meal preparation, light housekeeping, and ensuring the children's overall well-being. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and healthy environment for the family.

Responsibilities:

- Providing attentive after-school care and supervision for children.
- Preparing nutritious meals for the children and family
- Grocery shopping and running errands for the family
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Working with the family to ensure all things in the home run smoothly
- Organizing engaging activities such as reading, crafts, and games
- Ensuring the general upkeep of household chores, such as laundry
- Performing other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working with children
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or in progress) or equivalent is an asset




- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children
- Basic cooking skills and an understanding of nutrition
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Valid G driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Clear background check or willingness to obtain prior to employment
- Valid First-Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Strong references required

Schedule: 10-15 hours per week. Flexible between Monday and Thursday, between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. Expected Start Date: August/September 2026
