Role Description This full time remote Field Service Technician role involves traveling to customer sites to perform portable machining, millwright, and mechanical work. Day-to-day tasks include installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, performing precision measurements, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality requirements. The technician will diagnose mechanical issues, interpret technical drawings and specifications, and document work performed in service reports.

The role also includes coordinating with clients and internal teams to plan work, maintain tools and equipment,



and follow company procedures for safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with mechanical repair, installation, and maintenance of industrial equipment.

Proficiency in portable machining operations, use of hand tools, and operation of power tools.

Strong understanding of millwright practices, including alignment, rigging, and precision measurement.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and efficient work practices in industrial settings.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on-site.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and cooperatively with clients and team members.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly to remote and industrial work sites.

Relevant technical or trade certification in millwright, industrial mechanic, or a similar field is an asset.

Physical ability to perform field work, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
