Our Client A growing Canadian e-commerce company, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations and support continued business growth.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead the month-end close process, oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensure regulatory compliance, prepare financial reporting and analysis, and drive process improvements across the finance function. You will also mentor 2 junior team members and help strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy.

Locatio n: Oakville, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office

Key Responsibilities

- Lead month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and cash flow activities.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management insights.
- Ensure compliance with tax, payroll,



and statutory filing requirements.
- Maintain strong internal controls and support external audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and support junior finance team members.

Qualifications

- CPA designation required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
