About the Role
Reporting to the SVP, Finance Cannabis Operations, this role provides insights to the financial health of the organization through analysis, projections, and reporting. This position will work closely with the Commercial/Sales team and the Corporate Accounting team.
Role and responsibilities
- Ownership of month end reporting, analysis and consolidation of information from across the business to generate monthly financial pack.
- Support the development of the annual budget and rolling forecasts, including sales, cost of goods sold and departmental overheads.
- Creation and maintenance of reports and models to track the company’s progress through the year, including volume/mix/rate variances and department spend.
- Support productivity cost saving tracking and reporting.
- Be a trusted financial business partner to all departments across the organization.
- Contribute to the team’s strong collaborative culture by developing solid cross-functional partnerships and relationships to support initiatives and by fostering a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.
