First Press Operator

Our client, a well-established commercial print / manufacturing organization located in Markham is seeking an experienced First Press Operator to join their pressroom team.

This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a Heidelberg XL 75 lithographic press, ensuring high-quality production, accurate documentation, and leadership of the Second Press Operator. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of lithographic printing, ink formulation, colour matching, and press optimization. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

- 5–8 years of industry experience preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in printing processes and ink formulation
- Strong understanding of lithographic printing operations
- Ability to read job specification sheets and maintain precise documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a production workplace
