Mcgraw Seafood (2008) Inc. is looking for ambitious, flexible, hard-working individuals to be a part of its team. McGraw Seafood, owned by Elsipogtog First Nation since 2008, processes snow crab for global markets.

Located in the heart of Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, the company employs more than 200 employees during its snow crab season. It recently completed the construction of a state-of-the-art, 80,000-square-foot BRC – certified processing facility.

Job requirements

Languages

- Does not require the ability to communicate in any specific language

Education

- No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience

- Training will be provided

Worksite environment

- Noisy, Odours, Cold/refrigerated, Wet/damp

Personal Suitability

- Flexibility, Reliability, Team player

Tasks

- Cut, clean, and trim crab, lobster and steelhead trout.




- Check each fish and seafood to determine the ideal number and size of crab sections.
- Cut sections according to specifications.
- Set up and operate machines to can, bag, box, or otherwise package fish and seafood.
- Groundskeeper, night shift to clean the facility.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

- Repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail.
- Hand-eye coordination.
- Standing for extended periods

Wages $20.50 / hour

Start of Employment: Early April 2027
