Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food prep zones, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations




- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service during busy periods

Requirements

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen support roles is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated hospitality mindset with a focus on guest services and upselling techniques
